Start Fencing

There are a number of 7 week Beginners’ Courses held during the year, which cost $100 per course (2016 price) per person. (Attendees will also pay a .30 cent transaction fee to Try Booking.) The courses are aimed people 13 years and over that have never fenced before or are returning to fencing after a period of time.

The fee covers all the fencing specific equipment you will need for the 7 weeks.  By the end of the course you will know whether you like the sport or not.  Should you wish to continue fencing after the course you will need to join the club as a member and pay a registration fee to the state association, Fencing WA. Cavaliers fee information can be found on our  page.  If you choose to not initially purchase your own equipment there is an equipment hire fee. Our registrar, will be able to give you more details at the club.

Registration and payment for the course is all managed online. As numbers are capped at 16 on both the Saturday and Wednesday sessions, get in early to reserve your spot!  To register please click on the link next to the beginners course that is starting next. If you would like more details please email the secretary@cavaliers.com.au .
